It is starting to look like big is back, in more ways than one. For the past year or two in particular the neat, tidy hand tied bridal bouquet was the vogue. Soft shades ruled, cream, whites and various shades of pastel pink were the main feature.
Now 2015 is going bold, the flowers will be larger, peonies, hydrangea and orchids are just some. The garden/woodland look will be big right through the year but a bit more overstated in style.
While colour through the start of the year is still quiet soft and pastel rich, bold and strong colours are making a return for 2015.
Style wise the almost extinct shower bouquet will be back in fashion and also there is a scary return in trend to head pieces well that’s my feeling.
Baby’s breath now there is blast from the past is screeching back into trend from bridal bouquets to pew ends to corsages yes this one time just a filler flower is making a statement for 2015.
Ok baby’s breath is fine but the return of the carnation now that is a bad thought despite all the new variety of colours, my opinion again.
The photo below we did last year with Caroline Walsh a fab photographer. In this you can an idea of the large blooms in action and a garden theme. We were slightly ahead of the trend !
So to all 2015 brides happy planning. Go mad if you want florally anyway and most important of all have fun and add fun in whatever you choose
